The single biggest factor. More transactions means more reconciliation and coding every month.
Each bank and credit card account is another reconciliation to run and tie out.
Clean history starts cheaply. A backlog is quoted separately as catch-up rather than baked in forever.
Budgeting, variance reporting, receipt storage, and KPI dashboards are each priced on their own.
Two businesses with the same transaction count can differ a lot in complexity — number of accounts, how clean the history is, how many entities are involved. The range is honest about that; the books review turns it into a fixed number.
Your fee is set against an agreed scope. If your volume grows enough to move you a tier, we raise it with you rather than quietly re-invoicing.
Setup is part of onboarding. Where books need cleanup before ongoing work can start, that's quoted separately as catch-up bookkeeping so a one-time mess doesn't inflate your monthly fee permanently.
Because they're two separate price lists, not a currency converter. Each is set to sit correctly in its own market, so switching the toggle changes which price list you're looking at rather than running the same number through the day's exchange rate. It also means the price you're quoted doesn't drift with the currency markets between one visit and the next.
