Bookkeeping, financial operations, and tax services for growing businesses.
A team that has worked the other side of your file: the CRA, Big Four public accounting, and the finance teams of large public companies.
Online bookkeeping for growing businesses across Canada and the United States, with tax and GST/HST filing for Canadian businesses. The work is remote, wherever you are. We prepare and deliver your financial statements every month, so you always know how your business is performing.
Three things, handled properly, every single month.
Know exactly where you stand, every month
Statements every month, so you are running the business on current numbers rather than last spring's. Every transaction categorized, every bank and credit card account reconciled, and a full set of financial statements: profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow. We work in QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Xero, Sage 300 and Sage X3.
Money in the door sooner
Invoices go out on time and somebody follows up, so what you have earned stops sitting elsewhere. Accounts receivable and accounts payable managed end to end: invoices raised the day the work is done, aged receivables chased before they go quiet, supplier bills entered and scheduled so nothing is paid twice or paid late.
Walk into tax season already ready
Records kept in order through the year, so filing is a formality rather than three lost weeks. Corporate and personal tax, GST/HST returns and year-end preparation for Canadian businesses, handled by people who kept the records all year. Your accountant gets a clean set of books; the CRA gets its filing early.
Whatever your industry, the work is the same.
Between us we have worked inside the Canada Revenue Agency, Big Four public accounting, and the finance teams of large publicly traded companies, across construction, real estate, professional services, retail, manufacturing, hospitality, e-commerce and health. That range is the point. There is very little we have not seen, and nothing we treat as somebody else's problem.
Regardless of your industry, the work is the same and we do all of it: financial statements kept current, bills paid on schedule, invoices out on time so cash keeps coming in, and taxes filed ahead of the deadline. The difference between industries is in the detail, how revenue is recognized, which costs get capitalized, what your regulator expects, and that is exactly the part we tailor to you rather than forcing your business through a template.

A budget only pays off if someone's actually watching the gap between plan and reality. That's what monthly variance review is for: catching drift early, and doubling down on what's working.
Where it leaks
- Subscriptions and tools still billing that nobody's using
- Vendor payment terms that don't match your actual cash flow timing
- A service or product line quietly running at a loss
- Payroll or contractor costs that crept up without a decision behind it
- Spending categories with no one accountable for them
Where it's working
- Your actual highest-margin service or product line
- Repeat clients and channels vs. one-off, lower-margin work
- Seasonal patterns you can plan staffing and spend around
- Where the next dollar of revenue drops straight to profit
- Which cost centers are actually investments, and which aren't
More on this in five places money quietly leaks out of a growing business.
Serious bookkeeping for businesses that want their numbers right.
Incorporated or sole proprietor, one entity or several, any industry: what determines the work is your transaction volume and how complex your file genuinely is. We scope both before quoting anything, so the fee is set against what your file actually is.
Typical clients run $250K–$10M+ in annual revenue, but the fee is set by your transaction volume, not your top line.
Online across both countries, so nothing waits on a visit.
The work is remote, so where your business sits matters far less than what your books look like. We will get on a call whenever you want one, and we travel when a file genuinely calls for it. These are the markets our clients are in, not offices.

Not on the list? It makes no difference to the work. The named cities are simply where most clients happen to be.
One flat monthly fee, quoted after we see your books.
No hourly billing and no surprise invoices. We look at your file first, agree a fee that matches it, and the number does not move because a month was busy.
Set by your transaction volume
The fee follows how much actually runs through your books, not your revenue or your headcount. A quiet file pays less than a busy one, whatever the top line says.
Agreed before any work starts
A free consultation and a look at your books, then a written scope with a fixed monthly fee. You know the number before you commit to anything.
Fixed until your business changes
The fee moves when your volume genuinely moves, and we raise that with you first. It never changes because a month took longer than expected.
Add-ons like budgeting, budget vs. actuals, and receipt storage are scoped the same way, and anything specialist or one-off is quoted individually after a books review.

Restaurant and café bookkeeping: food cost, labour, and the two numbers that decide everything
Hospitality runs on margins thin enough that a two-point drift in food cost is the difference between a good year and a bad one. Most books cannot see it.

In property management, most of the money passing through the account is not yours. Books that don't model that produce statements nobody can tie to the bank.
